It's Episode 38, which by Matt's count is just 3 away from 40! To celebrate this non-milestone Dan decided to leave the UK this week and abandon Matt, who had to record an episode himself. To stop this from happening Matt decided to ask a female, real life woman to help out. So ladies and Gentlemen meet the very, funny and talented Stand-up Comedian: Laura Lexx! Who by all accounts is terribly overqualified to do this podcast. Regardless she's here to help Matt tell this weeks MIFF. A story of sexism, horny Greek gods, battles and more sexism.

We’ve delved into the life Achilles and heard about how the Greeks defeated the Trojans. Now its time to do a little back story and learn about the life of Agamemnon, the great Greek ruler. We know about his involvement in the Trojan War, but what about his upbringing, life, children and death? Well, he comes from the cursed family tree known as the ‘House of Pelops’ so I assure you it features murder, betrayal and greed. Also in this episode; Matt discusses yet another awkward encounter with a girl he knows and Dan pretends he knows stuff about animals.

How do they get inside the city walls after 10 years of failing to do so? It involves the infamous wooden horse you’ve no doubt heard of and lots of sub plots and treachery you probably haven’t.  Strap in, as the epic Trojan War comes to an end with plenty of blood, brawn and betrayal.

Our great hero’s have battled for 10 years. Who will triumph and who will fall...Also, Matt forgets the alphabet and Dan discusses his hatred for a child a met in a second hand DVD shop.

It’s time for part two of our MIFFS Achilles trilogy! He’s still an invincible warrior on a war path but today he’s throwing a strop and Agamemnon doesn’t like it. This MIFF focuses on the middle part of the Trojan War and how it was effected by a feud involving some stolen sex slaves, Achilles’ best friend and Hector, Troy’s favourite Prince and General. Also, Matt recounts an unfortunate situation by a urinal and Dan unscientifically explains why climate change isn’t real.

Episode 32 - Troy: Achilles (Part 1)

This episode is the first part of our trilogy about the man, the MIFF, the legend – Achilles. Through his story we will learn about the ups and downs that occurred over the ten year Trojan war! This first episode focuses on how a baby got dipped in a river to become the greatest warrior the world has ever seen.  Whilst other 15 year olds were worrying about how they looked and popping pimples, Achilles was leading a band of mercenaries on a war path to the beaches of Troy! Also Dan discusses alien invasion and Matt describes a recent visit to his old school.

This episode was also recorded during a heat wave, so Matt and Dan get topless and discuss experiences when they stripped...

Now imagine the largest army ever seen and an invincible, demi-god, super warrior turning up to destroy the ‘impenetrable’ walled city you live in. This is the start of the long and fascinating MIFF that is...’The Trojan War’.
