Remember that Giant that turned into a bird to chase Loki to Asgard and ended up getting killed by the Gods? Well, this episode is about his Daughter Skadi, who after waiting a few days, decides to investigate where her Dad is and why he’s taking so long to return home. Fearing the worst she makes her way to Asgard where she is given some rather weird compensation for her Dad’s untimely demise. Also Matt and Dan discuss teleportation and Mexican food.

Yep, so were Matt and Dan, as they stumble through this MIFF about the Giant Gerriod, only to find half way through that this is just a re-working of the myth featured in episode 91. This week sees the conclusion of a saga following the lives of a family though the generations. This episode features a lot of jealousy. A king becomes enraged when his Son steals the woman he loves, and three brothers quarrel over which one of them is their mother’s favourite. Like all good Norse myths it has extra layers, such as a hawk plucked of it’s feathers and a woman who is carried down stream only to be kidnapped and married off to a King. Also, Dan and Matt discuss the game of Scrabble.

This week it’s the second part of our ‘Dragon’s Breath Trilogy’ (a name we fabricated because the trilogy doesn’t have one). This MIFF sees Sigurd slay the dragon Fafnir, and take back the gold. We then follow him as he seeks a wife whilst meeting a lovely young Valkyrie named Brynhild. Also, Matt writes a ring side intro for Dan.

This week’s MIFF features creepy voyeurism turned marriage proposal. Don’t worry, it’s not one off Matt’s stories about failed first dates. It involves the god Freyr and his pursuit of a beautiful young Giant called Gerd. He doesn’t want to come off too strong, so he gets his faithful servant to be his wingman. How will it all play out? Also, Matt and Dan recall an awkward evening in a pub with Matt’s friends.

Welcome to this weeks episode of MIFFs. This is the start of a rather different set of circumstances, as COVID-19 forces Matt and Dan to use technology to record an episode whilst social distancing over 200 miles apart. This weeks MIFF follows Thor as he travels to Jotunheim to retrieve a rather large bowl from a Giant. Why you ask? Well, the Gods are having a party in Asgard and they need somewhere to put all the mead. Thor however, uses this errand as an excuse to do some fishing.
